Chapter 6 of 7
2025, year one done
first year wrap and major wins
closed out year one with wins at Techtrix and Hackforge.
the title kind of says it all. this is the first year wrap. except the story wasn't really finished when i wrote it, and honestly it still isn't.
i put most of the madness into a linkedin post at the time:
the short version
two hackathon wins, a pile of events, and a whole lot of chaos in between. coding on zero sleep, surviving mostly on caffeine. i did cryptography challenges, pitching competitions and a bunch of things i had no business signing up for, and somehow kept learning through all of it.
and that was first year, more or less. the post went up right at the end of it and then things just went quiet. after nine months of running at full speed that felt genuinely strange, but there wasn't much left on the calendar to run at.
the quiet didn't last.
