Chapter 1 of 7
class 8, where it started

the origin story
started coding in class 8 with a java textbook, BlueJ and a diary.
back in class 8 i got into coding the way every legend does. a school assigned java textbook, BlueJ, and a diary i turned into my own dev journal. we literally wrote code on paper during class. when things got boring my friends and i would just start scribbling java in our copies like absolute nerds, and i fucking loved it.
then i'd go home, run those scribbles on my pc, watch them actually work, and start messing with them to see what changed. that shit felt like magic. i was hooked.
that's when it clicked that this wasn't homework. this was fun.
i started picking up basic dsa off youtube (no chatgpt back in the day, mind you). learned java and python, worked through random problems and tried to actually understand the logic instead of memorising it. all self taught, all curiosity. no pressure, no plan, just genuinely liking building things with code.
